What will you do?

What will you do?

UI/UX Designer Intern (Unpaid)

The Role

  • We are looking for a UI/UX designer to work on our web and mobile SaaS products. The key responsibility is to design web and mobile focused interfaces and interactions. You will be collaborating with different teams to build innovative products to solve problems of end users.

  • Someone with attention to detail, who focuses on understanding user pain points before designing a product, and who can provide creative simple UI/UX design solutions to complex business problems will be able to succeed in this role. The role will be dynamic since this is a startup environment and the applicants' ability to adapt will be highly valued.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for ensuring that the product achieves the user specified goals with efficiency, effectiveness,and satisfaction

  • Implements user-centered analysis, design, best practices and standards within every project to achieve a delightful end user experience.

  • The position involves implementing the experience design through interactive prototypes and design documents.

  • You are expected to work on multiple projects simultaneously through efficient collaboration and delegation with other user researchers, interaction designers, visual designers and user testing professionals.

What will you do?

  • Scope, plan, and lead UX activities from initial requirements to concept, interaction design and development

  • Strongly familiar with standard coding languages for interactive products (E.g., HTML/CSS, JS, CMS products). Ability to code is a plus but not required.

  • Create super cool micro-interactions using Principle, AfterEffects, and ProtoPie

  • Experience with tools such as Principle, Framer, Webflow, or Adobe Suite is a plus

  • Ability to understand customer needs, motivations and behaviors and translate them into delightful customer experiences

  • Ability to quickly build concept maps, detailed wireframes, low/ high fidelity interactive prototypes and visual design concepts in an iterative development environment.

  • Deep understanding of typography, layout and composition, information architecture, color theory, fluid grid systems, animation and transitions

  • Exposure in designing on BI tools, custom products, mobile and web applications
